Position: Senior C++ Developers

The position –
You may or may not know that Perl is an open source language. To this end, we have incorporated 70+ open source modules into our flagship product, Clarity 4.0. Given your years of OOP experience, we’re sure you can appreciate the power of combining an object-oriented open source language like Perl with the strengths of C++. How about coming to GridApp to use your OOP experience in a heavy Perl environment?
As far as coding conventions, we use PBP and peer review (use strict; and use warnings; are mandatory). Warnings are fatal (causing a die to occur). All code must compile on all supported platforms prior to commit (Linux, Solaris, Win32, HP-UX).
Skills you should offer –
- Significantly skilled in server-side C++ (Perl, PHP receive bonus points)
- Solid experience in TCP/IP network and/or distributed systems programming
- Working with one or more of Oracle/DB2/Sybase/MSSQL
- Fluency in Linux (flavors of UNIX receive bonus points)
