Position: I/T Sales Rainmakers
Location: Denver, Texas, and Southern California
Status: Full Time

The position –

 

You will be responsible for building your customer base through consultative software and appliance sales. The target customer base consists primarily of large and mid-sized organizations with multiple databases running on an array of operating platforms.  Bottom-line is that you will grow GridApp Systems’ revenue in-line with current forecasts by aggressively adding new customers who offer year-on-year growth potential.

 

You will bring to the table –

 

  • A proven track record of sales execution in a technology company where the average sale is greater than 100K
  • Must be a hunter sales professional, one who would choose a high reward direct sales opportunity over a management position any day
  • Superior closing techniques
  • Must have a large Rolodex of IT decision makers in the eastern region, with a good percentage of Fortune 1000 CIOs, CTOs, Director/VP’s of Infrastructure, Manager of DBA’s
  • Must derive great pleasure from a small company atmosphere and its associated challenges
  • Must have at least 7-10 years of experience in a consultative technology sales environment
  • Familiarity with database environments, including Oracle, DB2, Sybase, and SQL-server, helpful
